You can sit Outside and have a great and quiet place top watch the Nature, animals and the Riverside. Breakfast was Always delicious with fruits, good big pots of Coffee and Fried eggs."

The host explained us every fruit in his beautiful garden. All in all the garden is a perfect place to calm down with a great view. The breakfast and the one dinner we had was very tasty and was always presented with huge attention to detail in the beautiful garden. It almost felt like fine dining. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. A/C worked fine and the water was warm."

"What a beautiful, quiet and peaceful location but what made it special was the hosts who were just the most amazing people. Nothing was too much trouble, they even went out of their way to get medical advice and medication for my daughter who had taken ill during our stay. We had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful seafood curry cooked by Mrs. Kumara missed out on a cooking lesson but I will return to take advantage of that one!"

"If you come to this place once, you will never want to stay anywhere else in Sri Lanka. I found this place by accident planning to stay for several nights, but ended up staying for 3 months. And during this period I’ve met a lot of people, mostly European, who are coming back to Fuji again and again every year - third, sixth and even 13th time. The family who owns the place is amazing - kind, gentle and ready to help 24/7 with anything. The owner, Kumara, used to live and work in Japan for a long time and you can feel this respectful Japanese style of business in every detail. Rooms are clean and very cozy, breakfasts are amazing and perfectly served and the view is absolutely stunning - you live just in front of the beautiful river. The location is great, it is very quiet there - during this 3 months I was working online every day with zoom meetings, and the atmosphere was perfect to concentrate. Also reading a book under the palm tree on the riverside with a cup of tea is unforgettable experience. At the same time, it’s just 10-15 min walk to the famous Bentota beach with perfectly clean beach and ocean and 5 min ride to the city with shops and restaurants. I travel a lot and stayed in different high rated hotels many times, but this place is something else. Looking forward to come back and highly recommend to everyone who is travelling to Sri Lanka.
